Babylon, Paramount+
A trip through old Hollywood, one location at a time.
Babylon follows several characters during Hollywood's transition from silent films to talkies. It's loud, chaotic, and over the top, but our challenge was to find ways to promote the film without always relying on its wildest moments.
Full panel carousel in motion.
The project started with a map idea from designer Jay Huddy: what if we traced moments from the film through the real places where they happened?
We took that idea and turned it into a visual timeline, connecting scenes from the movie to locations across present-day California.
I worked within the visual direction already established for the Babylon social campaign, using warm colors and details inspired by 1920s Hollywood. From there, I researched the locations, organized key story moments, and mapped everything into a carousel that fans could follow from beginning to end.

The final piece gave people a different way into the movie. Instead of focusing on individual characters or scenes, you could travel through the story by location.
This one never became the award winner from the Babylon campaign, but it's still one of my personal favorites from my time at Paramount+. I like that it takes a huge, chaotic movie and turns it into something surprisingly simple: a map you can follow.
