Mayor of Kingstown Season 3, Paramount+

Turning available imagery into premium deliverables.

For this project, I was tasked with creating a full set of 27 character cards using existing stills from Mayor of Kingstown Season 3.

What made this project unique was the constraint—we weren't working with bespoke photography or designed assets. Everything had to be built from what was already available, which meant the challenge became less about layout and more about how far we could push the imagery itself.

This was also my first deep dive into photo retouching and color enhancement at this scale.

Working closely with creative director Monchaya Ngaolertloy, I focused on refining lighting, adding depth, and retouching skin to elevate each portrait. She then carried the images through final color grading, ensuring the full set felt cohesive in tone and aligned with the series' visual identity.

Generative AI also played a supporting role in extending certain images and improving overall quality where needed. This helped us fill gaps without requiring additional shoots.

The final set achieved a premium, elevated look while staying within the limitations of existing assets. The outcome was very well received by stakeholders, especially given the cost-saving nature of the project—proving that strong visual impact doesn't always require a large production budget.
